Top King Muay Thai Gloves

What makes Top King gloves different from other brands?

Top King Muay Thai gloves are handmade in Thailand from premium genuine leather and built with high-density, multi-layer padding for exceptional protection and long-lasting durability.

Unlike standard boxing gloves, Top King gloves are specifically engineered for Muay Thai - featuring evenly distributed padding around the knuckles, back of the hand, and wrists. This design delivers superior shock absorption when blocking kicks and elbows, while providing the flexibility needed for clinch work and catching kicks.

Every pair is engineered and tested in the heart of Muay Thai - Thailand, where they’ve been tried and trusted by top-ranked professional fighters worldwide.

My Top King gloves feel tight around my hand - will they loosen up?

Yes! Top King gloves are designed for a snug fit to provide better wrist support and protection. Since they are made from genuine leather, they will gradually soften and mold to your hands with regular use, ensuring a more comfortable fit over time. Keep in mind that the gloves will break in over time, so use your own discretion to decide if the initial fit is too tight for your comfort. To speed up the break-in process, use them during training and wear hand wraps.

What size gloves should I choose?

Muay Thai Boxing glove sizes are measured in "oz" (ounces), which reflects the glove’s weight and amount of padding. The ideal glove size depends on your training purpose, preference and size.

  • 6oz: Ideal for 5 to 10 years
  • 8oz-10oz: Size used for fights. Good use for pad work to simulate fight conditions improve speed.
  • 12oz: Good for light drill, pads and bag work.
  • 14oz-16oz: Recommended for heavier partner drill work. Excellent for sparring due to their thick padding and wrist support, which help protect both you and your training partner.

👉 Please refer to the "Size Guide" in the product description for measurements.

PRO TIP: Professional fighters usually use - one smaller pair (8oz-12oz) for pad and bag work to simulate fight conditions and improve speed, and another larger pair (14oz-16oz, depending on weight) for sparring and partner drills to ensure better protection for both you and your training partners.

Top King Shin Guards

What makes Top King shin guards better than other brands?

Top King shin guards are the best in the industry, offering a superior fit and strategic padding for elite protection during intense sparring sessions. Handmade from premium-quality leather, they provide exceptional durability and comfort. Trusted by professional Muay Thai fighters and UFC superstars like Conor McGregor, Cesar Almeida, and Dione Barbosa - Top King shin guards are built for the professional fighter.

What’s the difference between Top King shin guard models?

All Top King shin guards are handmade in Thailand with cushion inside and high-density padding, a genuine leather outer shell, and an ergonomic curved fit for maximum comfort and protection. The main difference comes down to knee coverage and mobility.

Shin Guards with Knee Arch

Models: Pro, Blend, Wild Tiger, Kanok etc

These feature an arched design that extends slightly over the knee, offering extra protection from knee clashes and heavy contact. Ideal for fighters who prefer maximum coverage and impact protection.

Shin Guards without Knee Arch

Model: Reborn

The Reborn series has a cut-out section around the knee, giving slightly greater flexibility and mobility. The design allows more knee movement and room to wear separate knee pads if preferred.

All Top King models share the same elite padding, fit, and craftsmanship - your choice depends on preferred mobility and the level of knee protection desired.
How do I choose the right size for my Top King shin guards?

To ensure the perfect fit, refer to our Size Guide (located in the product description), which provides recommendations based on height and weight. However, sizing can be a matter of personal preference—some prefer shin guards to sit slightly below the knee, while others like more coverage.

Another important factor is calf size. The straps behind the ankle and calf may feel stiff at first since our shin guards are made from genuine leather, which takes time to break in—similar to a new pair of leather shoes. If you have larger calves, we recommend sizing up for better comfort and fit.

We also offer a 30-day return policy in case the size isn’t quite right. As long as the shin guards remain unused with the tags attached, we’ll be happy to provide a refund or exchange.

Muay Thai Shorts

Why should I use Muay Thai shorts?

Muay Thai shorts are specifically designed to provide freedom of movement for throwing powerful knees, high kicks, and more, for both Muay Thai training and fights. Unlike regular athletic shorts, Muay Thai shorts feature a wide leg cut, lightweight fabric, and high-rise waistband, allowing for unrestricted mobility.

In addition, the unique designs often reflect the rich cultural heritage of Muay Thai, adding a sense of tradition and pride to your training and fight.

PRO TIP: If you’ve ever trained in Thailand or watched Muay Thai fights online, you may have noticed that Thai fighters often adjust their shorts by rolling up the waistband and hiking them higher for added leg room and freedom of movement.

How do I choose the right size for my Muay Thai shorts?

To find the perfect fit, refer to our Size Guide located in the product description. Please note that, as the shorts are handmade in Thailand, the sizing may run smaller than typical U.S. sizes. If you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit for added mobility, we recommend going one size up.
